Cancellation

Conditions for cancellation of single reservations and group reservations for less than ten people

  1. Modification or cancellation of a reservation must be done at least 24 hours before the arrival, and must be in writing (by E-mail or fax).

  2. If the guest arrives after 18.00, it must be notified in the reservation, or else the reservation can be cancelled after 18.00.

  3. Provided that the guest fails to arrive, and has not made a cancellation before 15.00 on the day of arrival, he or she will be charged for one overnight stay (No-Show).

Conditions for cancellation of groups of ten people or more

  1. An arrangement can be cancelled up to nine weeks prior to the starting date without compensation charges.

    The cancellation must be transmitted before 16.00 on the last day of compensation free cancellation. Cancellation is to be understood as: annulment, reduction, shortening, relocation and other major changes in relation to the order confirmation.

    Cancellation must always be in writing (E-mail, fax or letter).

  2. In case of cancellation the compensation is calculated from the agreed price of rooms and provisioning as follows:

    Cancellation less than nine weeks before the arrangement – compensation at 25%

    Cancellation less than six weeks before the arrangement – compensation at 50%

    Cancellation less than two weeks before the arrangement – compensation at 75%

    Cancellation less than one week before the arrangement – compensation at 100%

  3. In case of a reduction of the number of participants, a room-compensation is charged as follows:

    If reduction in number of participants more than two weeks prior to the arrangement – compensation at 50%

    If reduction in number of participants less than two weeks prior to the arrangement – compensation at 100%

  4. For special services there is a 100%-compensation.

    By special services we mean services that have been ordered by the hotel for a specific purpose and will be an expense for the hotel.

    The amount of the compensation is reduced if the service can be used for another purpose by the hotel without further complications.

  5. In case of delay or cancellation of an arrangement, which takes place due to traffic issues occurring close to the date of arrival, we will reconsider the rules found in point 2.

  6. A schedule of mealtimes and further provisioning must be sent at least two weeks before the arrival.

  7. Rooms: A registration list of overnight participants must be send at least four weeks prior to the date of arrival.

  8. Deviations from these conditions must be in the form of a written agreement between the hotel and the costumer.

Conditions for cancellation of courses, conferences and other large-scale arrangements
