Greenlanders has a long tradition of story-telling. Bringing stories and legends from one generation to another has been essentiel to the inuits of Greenland.
Several of the stories we're telling from ancient times are identical with the stories that our inuit kinsmen from Canada and Alaska are telling to their descendants.
Most of the stories has a educational purpose for the listeners.
Storytelling takes place in nature - outside the beautiful located Inuk Hostels - and indoors in the cafe in less favorable weather.
The stories are told by a skilled storyteller, and listeners get the opportunity to ask questions about the story they have just listened to.
